The Romance Library

In my constant search for romantic reads I found this series by Christina Dodd called Darkness Chosen.  Now normally, I don't go for new writers, but I remembered the name from a Princess historical Novel (Barefoot Princess).  I kept it around the house in the bag, but then I found another book of the series, and I was intrigued.

I love the concept, and my favorite of the series is "Scent of Darkness", but I am impatient to get the last two books on the series.  The one thing that caused me to raise my brows quite a bit was how erotic it was. Romance novels these days are quite risqué, to say the least, but these books are bordering on erotica - and really good one too-, not that I mind!

Now the second one, Touch of Darkness, was not as intriguing to me as the first, but it was a good read as well, adding more to what the first book said regarding the curse and the family.

Tortured souls, over achieving men and women that have special gifts natural and supernatural, and love, everlasting love that changes men from evil to good.  The kind of story we love, because we are so attracted to those bad guys and when we finally catch them we want to turn them good.

It's our fantasy, girls, and Christina Dodd knows just how to spin it. I found her first by reading the Barefoot Princess the second story of a three part Princesess series.
