Lover Enshrined by J.R. Ward - Black Dagger Brotherhood book 6
Wow! Wow. Sometimes you think you have read a good book, then something like this comes out and you know bone deep there are few things like it out there. I cried several times throughout the book and toward the end thought I would be disappointed, but I wasn’t; just two pages made me want to worship J.R. Ward.

Phury’s story is mixed with many others but you “feel” the connection with Cormia. There were good news in this book, but there were a lot of losses as well. I love how cormia starts “finding” herself and then telling off the Primale.

Here is the thing about the Black Dagger Brotherhood series, J.R. Ward manages to create flesh and blood individuals that practically materialize before you. Not only that, she makes you LOVE them “truly, deeply” like the song says. I am so excited about what the future holds for John Matthew, for Rhevenge and for the Chosen. Payne has mommy issues as well. I have to say this is my second favorite of the series, the first being Zadist’s story with Bella (Lover Awakened). I must also note, the author has an amazing ability to make you accept non conventional couples (homosexual, interspecies, S&M, bisexual). I won’t go into details, but just like Vishous and Butch there’s a spark & hidden love.

There was much more on Rhev as well, and from the information revealed I wonder what female could possibly be meant for him. One of the Chosen?
The next book is not a novel per se, but a facts & deleted scenes and other tasty tidbits book, that you won’t have long to wait for. It will be out on October 2008.
